Ni kailanma'y di nito ginustong manglait o mang-alipusta o ipagdikdikan ang kanyang opinyon, bagkus, ninanais ng may akdang ikatuwa ng mambabasa ang kanyang mga pananaw sa mga pangyayari sa araw-araw.

Kill em' All

Why retreat? Why give in to their demand, they just killed 3 Marines again. What's next?

A dear friend happened to be just in the wrong place on the wrong time, CPL Jeflor dela Torre of Ligao, Albay is just one of the 3 Marines slain last Mar 19th, 2009. While Marines are crying revenge for their comrades' death, our gov't pulled out the troops while saying they are 'repositioning'. That's just a day short before they were killed in action. Why just now?

I last met him at my father's wake, he told me he's in AWOL status and is seriously considering not going back. He joined the Marines immediately after college. A Bicol University alumnus with a degree in Education, he chose to fight those Abu Sayyaf bastards than to teach.

I tried ringing his phone as the news broke out just to confirm. We may never know, it might be another soldier who happens to be his namesake. Then I saw the link from GMA news, with his picture, and that's when I stopped redialling.

Again, i post this question, why retreat, why don't we gather all our troops and KILL EM ALL? For our country, for Kuya Jeff and the rest of the casualties of this they call war.
